2020: What an incredible century!

A Pandemic, a locust invasion in Africa, cases of black Plague, explosions in Beirut and Houston, earthquakes in Slovenia and Turkey just to name a few. I have started thinking we were all enrolled in the Hunger Games at the beginning of this year. What kind of of world will we be leaving to the kids that have started school this year? Well maybe a world where in History books the year 2020 will take 200 pages. Poor kids, all those data to learn!

More about Italy

The Peacock invasion. Punta Marina is a village near Ravenna and, since we are still in this unbearable 2020, it has been hit by a peacock invasion. Thirty peacocks have started taking possession of the area and damaging roofs and cars. I'm sure this will be labelled in Historic books as fun facts. Not funny though for the poor car owners.

What's next

Other holidays destinations I have visited last summer. Hoping we can all go back traveling soon.

This newsletter is shorter than the previous ones. I do not have much to say, but I thought it was important just to show up and say hi. And if you have read so far, send me a message to say hi too, for an update on catastrophes you are experiencing in 2020, or just to tell me how is life treating you. In the meantime, I will go chocolate hunting. As this year has provided us with infinite reasons for eating chocolate. And hopefully you will find my secret chocolate addresses in the future posts.

Blog you soon,

Lori
