If you’re a seafood enthusiast, Trattoria Le Tre Nuvole, the three clouds in English, is a true paradise. Despite its intimate size, this family run trattoria boasts an impressive selection of fresh fish dishes. From mouthwatering grilled fish seasoned with zesty lemon-infused olive oil to delectable seafood pasta bursting with flavors, each dish is thoughtfully prepared to highlight the natural taste of the ingredients.
Where is this family run trattoria?
Located in Via Passo Buole 176, in the Mirafiori District, this trattoria, where you can enjoy fresh fish, in in the Southern part of the city. It is perfect for lunch or dinner if you come here for business and your hotel is nearby. But if you are in a different area, coming here for dinner with a taxy or bus could be a great idea. It is totally worth it!
What kind of fresh fish can you find
Appetizers with fish and traditional ingredients such as tomatoe coming from Sicily (the Pachino variety), or rocket, handmade pasta with seafood, ravioli filled with fish, shrimps prepared with honey, salmon and great sea bream. This are just some examplke of what I found as the menu changes periuodically.
We tried an appetizers made with octopus and a type of handmade thick spaghetti called troccoli with seafood. We also wanted to try the “fritto misto”, a dish with different types of fried fish, but the pasta dish was quite big and we preferred to leave space for a dessert.
As a dessert we tried a freshly home made cannolo, a specialty from Sicily. We tried one with pistachio nuts and one with chocolate chips. and Of course the filling made with fresh ricotta cheese.
A trattoria serving fresh fish with great value for money
What makes this trattoria worth the visit is the value for money. You can easily eat for less than 30 euros, which considering that it is all fresh fish is not that much. Here is an example of menu with prices.
What I loved about the place
The athmopsphere is cozy, the staff is really kind and in no way this is a tourist restaurant. You can really find the truest Italian Cuisine and experience great dishes. For me, this is the perfect spot when I crave fish other than sushi! So, give it a try and let me know.
